Applications Available For 2008-2009 Employee Enhancement Grants
Michigan Works! Kalamazoo and St. Joseph County has just released applications for the 2008-2009 Employee Enhancement Grants.
Deadline for submission is Monday, August 25, 2008 - 4:00 pm
These grants are available to businesses in:
- Manufacturing
- Healthcare (patient care)
- Service industries
- Advanced manufacturing
- Life sciences
- Technology
- Homeland security and/or defense
- Alternative energy fields
Business must be located in either Kalamazoo or St. Joseph counties, and training must be completed by April 30, 2009. A preference is given to applications that include training services delivered by M-TEC at KVCC. A maximum grant of $15,000 per company will be allowed. You are encouraged to act quickly to develop your training outline.
