As America’s aging population grows, so does the need for qualified and caring staff to work in facilities such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living residences, adult care facilities, retirement communities, and in-home care. These jobs offer not only competitive wages, but also the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives.
The M-TEC at Kalamazoo Valley Community College developed the Patient Care Academy to provide a fast track to high-demand, entry-level jobs in health care. The Academy requires a full-time commitment for 10 weeks. The Patient Care Academy is designed to prepare students for a wide range of health careers.
