Thank you for your interest in the Automotive Academy's repair phase. Automotive repair is an important part of the education process, allowing our students to benefit from the experiences obtained through work brought in from outside the classroom.
The Automotive Academy is not a business for profit. The Auto Academy seeks persons willing to allow their vehicle to be worked on in the Academy, by students, with NO expectation of timeliness or correctness of the repair. The Academy instructors strive to inspect all repairs and supervise diagnosis of concerns but cannot guarantee that the repairs are correct or the diagnosis is accurate. The Academy seeks certain types of concerns at different times throughout the semester, and cannot guarantee that the repair you are seeking fits into the same schedule. This means that it could be a long period of time before your vehicle would be considered for repair. If you are dependent upon the use of your vehicle, THIS IS NOT A GOOD OPTION for you. If you can do without the use of your vehicle for a long period of time, and the repair fits into the Academy curriculum, this may be a good option for you. We DO NOT perform automatic transmission or engine overhauls.
