The Automotive Academy seeks to assist potential technicians and compare their interests in the career choice to the realities of the work in context to their own talents. The limited seats available each year require a competitive application process through which those most likely to succeed in the Academy and in this occupation, will be admitted.
Candidates that do not meet the minimum requirements for employment, as established by the Industry Task Force will not be admitted.
How To Apply:
- Download and print a written application.
- Schedule a Program Tour.
- Applicants are encourage to schedule a tour of the Automotive Academy. To se up a time to visit, please call 269-353-1282 or send an email request to: careeracademies@kvcc.edu
- Submit a written application and ALL of the required documents.
- A copy of your drivers license. A valid driver's license is an admission requirement.
- A certified copy of your driving record from the Michigan Department of State / Record Lookup Unit.
